Omobic is the new brand name for the high performance component offering from MBL, a company unknown by wheelchair users, yet known among wheelchair producers worldwide for representing top quality products. Omobic high-performance components are designed for active use, some of the top high-end active wheelchair brands rely on Omobic components to complement their wheelchairs.
MBL was established by the Lauritsen family in Denmark in 1988. From humble beginnings, where wheels were assembled around a table-tennis table, and products stored in the family attic and children’s playhouse, MBL has grown to become one of the largest producers in the global wheelchair industry. Based in three countries across two continents, the current 42,000m2 facilities produces around 45,000 rear wheels per year.
Today, still family owned, and together with 1500 experienced and skilful people, all driven by a mutual can-do attitude, respect for people, and the ambition to be a defining part of your movement. Omobic has the dedication, impact, and responsibility to drive rehab forward and produce high quality components at an attainable price.
